Welcome to the
Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance
Creating the next generation of outstanding performing artists
Upcoming Events
Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance (LAMP) is creating the next generation of outstanding performing artists.
We select highly talented young musicians for mentorship and performance opportunities with some of the most sought-after artists of our time. Through a unique environment of collaboration, masterful instruction, and community outreach, we nurture their artistic growth, which prepares them to make a lasting impact on the world of music.
Young Artists
Our primary mission is to shape, influence and forge the next generation of outstanding performing artists within the walls of a Canadian architectural treasure.
This is achieved by providing carefully selected young artists with proven talent and ambition the career changing opportunity to be mentored by and perform with many of the most sought after and influential artists of our time.
Our Patrons
Community support is the most elevating aspect of an organization such as LAMP.
It is partners like you who can help us in our commitment to offer the highest possible level of instruction to gifted young musicians while enriching the diversity of our wider community through the arts.

We’re celebrating 10 years of extraordinary music in Lunenburg!
LAMP’s 2025–2026 season bursts to life with bold artistry, new collaborations, and the return of audience favourites. We open with an electrifying concert pairing Polish guitar virtuoso Łukasz Kuropaczewski and the Verona Quartet, leading into our Guitar Academy.
In November, the Early Music Academy gathers an exceptional faculty — Edwin Huizinga (violin), Elliot Figg (harpsichord), Cullen O’Neill (cello), and Manami Mizumoto (violin) — for an immersive dive into Baroque performance.
This season we will feature peer mentorship and community concerts in a Chamber Festivals format, highlighted by the return of cellist Leland Ko, fresh from his Naumburg International Cello Competition triumph. The Jazz Series is back in full swing. Spring will shine a spotlight on voice and string quartet, setting the stage for an exciting, art-filled summer.
We look forward to sharing this season’s music with you — in the concert hall, across our community, and in the unforgettable moments that happen when artists and audiences meet.
