Rachel Fenlon, Soprano

Rachel Fenlon, acclaimed soprano and pianist, brings her distinctive artistry to the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance on Sunday, February 1st, 2026 at 2:30pm. Internationally recognized for her rare self-accompanied song recitals, Fenlon has been praised for performances that are both intimate and electrifying. Her debut album Winterreise (2024), the first self-accompanied recording of the work, was hailed as “extraordinary and spellbinding” by BBC Radio 3. This afternoon recital features a folk-song programme including music by Schubert and Britten, alongside Fenlon’s own arrangements, offering a rich and personal journey through song.
