Sound & Sketch with LSA
Julia-Hyunji Lee, cello - Hosted in collaboration with the Lunenburg School of the Arts
What does music look like? In Sound & Sketch, you will embark on a creative journey where sound and visual expression come together. Through live cello performances of vivid, colorful pieces - some inspired by folk tales and storytelling - you are encouraged to explore how music creates emotions, scenes, and characters.
As we listen, we will use drawing, colors, and shapes to bring the music to life on paper, transforming melodies into your own visual stories. This interactive workshop encourages curiosity, deep listening, and imaginative expression, showing that music isn’t just something we hear - it’s something we deeply feel and see.
No musical or artistic experience is needed - just an open mind and love for creativity.
